R M Dhawan

Dhawan ji is a MA, LLB, Retired Govt Officer, Joined The Art of Living in 2005 as full time, Chairman of Vykati Vikas Kendra India from 2006 to 2009, trustee of SSRDP since 2009.

Dhawan ji would be our guide and mentor and continue to push the initiative for the use of bio-enzyme SSRDP has manufactured, blessed by Gurudev as Jag Pavani. Its use would extend to enhancing the yield in agriculture at minimal cost as also in removing foul smell and harmful chemicals in water bodies, garbage-dumps and STPs. All waste management projects would be his domain.

Dhawanji as Director and head of SSRDP Pvt Ltd would oversee its functioning as also supervise the functioning of our sensitive, FCRA account which came to SSRDP after persistent effort on his part.

Air Cmde Rabindra Merani

Merani Ji has been part of Indian Air Force since 1974 to 2008, with corporate experience with Deccan Airlines and others, joined SSRDP as a trustee on 2017.

As Chairman and the resident trustee at Bangalore Ashram, maintains liaison with sister trusts and oversee finance, admin and personnel of the trust. Receive regular feedback from the CEO on all on-going projects of SSRDP.

 

Would be the link between our rural initiatives and VVKI/SSIAST to ensure farmers are happy and getting richer.

 

Would work closely with Ravi Bhushan ji on the Farmers Produce Marketing Project, in light of the new legislation, which aims to boost the incomes of Producer Companies and FPOs in favor to farmers, instead of middlemen, as has been the case until now.

Deepak Sharma

Deepak Sharma ji has been part of Art of Living since 2004 as a full time Sevak. He oversee the

pan-India skill centres, our relationship with NSDC, Schneider, CSR and the Solar projects, including Arunachal and the NE states.

He would also continue charge of his initiatives in natural buildings, pottery, tribals and artisans.

 

Ravi Bhushan

Conceptualizing and spearheading a humongous project for alleviating farmer distress. This would include federating farmer Producer Companies and creating FPOs, for value addition to farm produce and taking maximum advantage of the recent ground breaking amendments to the Essential Commodities act, APMC and contract farming rules, with a view to ensure that rural folk are better able to earn a livelihood and are not flocking to urban slums, to earn a living.

With his experience as an advisor at NRLM and in contract farming, he would guide SSRDP in setting up a structure that would be self-sustaining and self-funded. Help of Agri-business BBAs and MBAs could be taken. SSIAST would be consulted for training in Natural farming. YLTP would form part of the package and Project Bharat Pratinidhis could propel our initiatives. The starting point would be five Indian states followed by at least five more in due course

Vijay Hakay

Vijay Hakay ji, will take on the responsibility of linking YLTP/RHP/HP with all SSRDP project initiatives that involve people, be it rural training or skill training. He will identify for appointment, honorary sevaks who will be in-charge at district and taluk level. He would vigorously expand the scope of the World Bank funded project on climate resilient agriculture which he had initiated and also oversee grasslands development.

Hakay ji will guide and influence Sarpanch federations towards the betterment of farmer incomes and quality of life, through collective farming and appropriate marketing practices.

Indira Merani

Indira Merani has been looking after the HR function since the past 5 years in SSRDP.
B Tech by education, she started her career with BHEL & has been in the teaching profession for almost 20 years. Her last assignment was Professor at an Engineering College in Bangalore. At the age of 65 she continues to work and be a home maker as well she is an art of living. teacher and has been with artofliving since the past 18 years. Her son and husband also work at the Art Of Living.
